I am a warm and nonjudgmental therapist with more than 15 years of experience helping people with anxiety, depression, relationship conflicts, family stress, and problems at work.
In my office, you’re a person. Not a person with a problem. I consider the broad goal of treatment — not only to relieve suffering — but to live a more satisfying life by understanding yourself or your partner more thoroughly.
My career as a therapist seeded from my experience as a patient. Psychology and psychoanalysis were always of interest but I took a few roads to my chair.
Initially, I worked at a wanna-be Google that went belly up in the dot com bust. I was lucky to next find a job in public health, which grew into a career in health policy. I was in therapy during these and other transitions in my life. The experience has and continues to help me open up new parts of myself.
It’s hard to see yourself by yourself. I enjoy helping patients find what is not readily available and use it to increase satisfaction.
